Does wearing braces affect one's speech?
Maybe tad bit la but not that bad right?
I reckon I still speak pretty well.
Subsequently, most of my colleagues noticed my braces. One put me to the prounciation test.
Ok not really a test. According to him, his friend is unable to say mashi maru. I could. Nothing what.
Another colleague of mine almost drove me up the wall. We were to meet at 230 for a discussion. So it was about time and I reminded him, "Jon, 230." The funny part was he was actually sneezing away. He went, "Huh?" I repeated,"230. You forgot?" And I went on..
He said, " Orh. I thought you said me so dirty." 230 vs so dirty. I would say he sneezed his ears blocked.
Then I realised many that I know of wore braces before. Jo, your straight teeth is authentic man. Ok back to my point. I was talking about these coloured bands with my colleagues. One's favourite was blue. He suggested that I should try it the next time round. I replied him," And look like ugly Betty. " This happened yesterday. Today, I wore glasses. He came up to me and told me to put on more weight. I told him I'm trying to. He said," ya put on more weight like ugly Betty. " KNN.
